Rainy Friday

The weather was terrible all day Friday so I decided to sleep in late and watch a DVD I purchased for 10 yuan. (Wall Street, a classic!) I had Beijing duck for dinner and met 4 Quebecers from Montreal in Sanlitun. 2 of them are teachers in rural China, while the two others are over on holiday. While talking with them, I also met an American and a British girl. We caught some fantastic live music, which ranged from blues to Jimi Hendrix to the Beatles. I then headed to Poachers, where I ran into some friends I had met at Taku. Beijing is a village when it comes to expat hangouts.
